Nestled on a peaceful acre of land with DIRECT ACCESS to the stunning West Fork of the Kickapoo River—a Class I trout stream renowned for its pristine waters—as well as 35 acres of huntable, public DNR land literally in the back yard, this rustic, hand-built cabin is your dream hunting and fishing getaway. 

With two bedrooms and a loft, the Kickapoo Lodge comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests. The main floor master bedroom features a cozy private bedroom with a comfortable queen-sized bed. The second private bedroom is located upstairs and has room for four, with a queen bed and set of bunk beds. The loft area provides additional sleeping space with two twin beds, perfect for those who enjoy a more open, cabin-style feel. For extra flexibility, the queen sofa sleeper in the living room offers additional accommodations. There is a full bath on the main level, and a half bath is conveniently located upstairs.

Outside, enjoy a morning cup of coffee on the front porch, a glass of wine on the back deck, or roast marshmallows at the outdoor firepit!

This is a true rustic retreat—hand-built with reclaimed wood, custom railings, and all the character you'd expect from a one-of-a-kind cabin. Its charm lies in its imperfections, from uneven floors to handcrafted details that make this space unique. While this adds to the experience, families with very young children should note that some areas may require extra supervision, and may not be appropriate for very young children.
